Custom Comfort mattresses are made in California. We design and handcraft every mattress in our own factory in Orange County, in the heart of Southern California, and have done so since 1986. Each mattress is built to order using traditional techniques rather than mass-produced overseas.

Buying directly from a California manufacturer means you purchase your mattress from the same company that builds it, with no third-party retailer in between. Because Custom Comfort both makes and sells its mattresses, that savings is passed along to you, and the people who handcraft your bed are local to Southern California.

Our mattresses are built with natural materials, including natural latex, organic cotton, and breathable wool, supported by a durable innerspring or hybrid core and CertiPUR-US certified foam. We use these premium materials because they are healthier, more breathable, and longer lasting than synthetic alternatives.

Custom Comfort handcrafts firm, medium, and plush mattresses, including latex and hybrid mattresses, across its Select, Heritage, and Reserve collections. Every model is available in standard sizes from Twin through California King, and as a local manufacturer we can also build a custom mattress in oversized or non-standard dimensions.

Yes. Our Reserve collection features luxury mattresses handcrafted with the finest natural latex, organic cotton, and wool for those who want premium materials and luxurious craftsmanship. Every collection is handcrafted in the same Southern California factory.

Yes. Many Custom Comfort mattresses, especially latex and select hybrid models, flex comfortably on an adjustable bed or adjustable base, so you can combine handcrafted, California-made support with adjustable positioning for more restful sleep.
